The Middlesex County Fire School is presenting the “Engine Company Chauffeur School” Course to be hosted by the Durham Fire Company. This program is designed to prepare new Engine Company Operators for taking on the responsibility of driving and operating an engine in their department. This comprehensive program includes three separate important training classes in one. Students may sign up for all three modules, or each module independently.

The Middlesex County Fire School is presenting a Firefighter II Course to be hosted by the Old Saybrook Fire Department. This training class will meet the NFPA 1001 Standard for Firefighter Professional Qualifications for Firefighter II and will run on Thursday evenings and alternating weekends.

The Middlesex County Fire School is presenting a Firefighter I Course to be hosted by the Middlefield Fire Department. This training class will meet the NFPA 1001 Standard for Firefighter Professional Qualifications for Firefighter I and will run on Wednesday evenings and alternating weekends.

The Middlesex County Fire School is presenting a Firefighter I Course to be hosted by the East Hampton Fire Department. This training class will meet the NFPA 1001 Standard for Firefighter Professional Qualifications for Firefighter I and will run on Thursday evenings and alternating weekends.

The Middlesex County Fire School is presenting a Q Endorsement Course. This training class will provide instruction to students on the operation of fire apparatus in accordance with the standards established by the Commission on Fire Prevention and Control. At the end of this program, students will participate in a practical skills test and successful completion will allow them to apply to the DMV for a Q Endorsement on their driver’s license.
