The Middlesex County Fire School is presenting the “Truck Company Operator” Course to be hosted by the Essex Fire Department. In this training class students will receive lecture and practical skill instruction covering theory, use and troubleshooting of their department’s aerial apparatus. Training will provide instruction to students on the safe and effective operation of aerial fire apparatus. Aerial apparatus within the region will be used during the training to promote interoperability at fire scenes and familiarity of the local apparatus. This program is designed to prepare the student for operating aerial apparatus on the fireground using a thorough knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of the apparatus. This course consists of one evening session and two weekend practical skill sessions and is customized to the Middlesex County Fire Service and the resources within. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will receive a course completion certificate.
